International Tiger Day

Among the species of suavages threatened today, the tiger occupies an unenviable place ...
Tigers are endangered

The world population of wild tigers fell by 97% during the 20th century. In the absence of a truly effective census, some countries may see their tiger population disappear altogether.

WWF has played a leading role in organizing the "International Tiger Summit" and looks forward to continuing the 2022 Tx2 World Target.
Objective Tx2

This refers to the target in terms of tiger repopulation. The WWF is however lucid and knows that the operation will be difficult to carry out, but the game is worth the candle. So is the preservation of a rare species!
The World Day

These are the 13 tiger range countries (that is, those in which tigers live: Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Viet Nam) who established World Tiger Day at the Tiger Summit in November 2010 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The date chosen is July 29th and the main goal of the day is the awareness of the populations to the conservation of the wild tigers.
